Navigating
The site is divided into the following platforms:
PC Games - Games for Microsoft Windows PC, PC-CDROM and PC-DVDROM games can be found here. (NB: Games listed as PC-DVDROM may also contain content on PC-CDROM's)
X-Box 360 - Microsoft XBox 360 games
Xbox - Microsoft XBox games
PlayStation 3 -  Sony PlayStation 3 games.
PlayStation -  Sony Playstation 2 and Playstation One (original Playstation) games.
PSP - Sony Playstation Portable games.
Downloads - Downloadable games for Microsoft Windows PC's.
Wii - Nintendo Wii games.
GameCube - Nintendo Game Cube games
Nintendo DS - Nintendo Dual Screen games.
Gameboy - GameBoy Advance and GameBoy Color games.
Macintosh - Apple Macintosh Games.
Hardware - Controllers, Gamepads, Joysticks, Wheels, Mice, Keyboards, Cables and other essential gaming accessories.

You will also see products listed as Win/Mac these products contain a copy of the game for both PC's (Windows) and Macintosh computers.

Searching
If you know what game you're looking for, just type a keyword from the game title into our search box on the left side of the screen and click the "GO" button. You can narrow your search to one platform by choosing your platform from the pulldown list underneath the search box.

Too Many Results
Our search box searches by default in the title and the short opening description of each game. Using the 'Search Title Only' box can help where the title you are looking for contains key words that are common in a lot of titles and descriptions.
Example: Typing "myst" will find pages of games whose title or description include words like mystery and mysterious. Ticking the 'Search Title Only' box will return you only one page, making it easier to find what you are looking for.
NOTE: By restricting the search to title only, you will not find some compilations where the title of the compilation does not contain the word you are looking for
Example: searching for "close combat" in title only will not find the "Conflict Triple Pack" which contains Close Combat 5

Too Few Results
First check the platform box to make sure you are searching within the correct platform.
Our search box looks for what you have typed exactly as you have typed it in. Often fewer words give you more results, and choosing one key word from a title will make it easier to find what you are looking for.
Example: Typing "star wars knights of old republic" will not find the game because our title formatting includes a colon in the title. However searching for "knights” or “republic” will return all titles with that word in the title, including Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Pricing
All of the prices shown on our site are in Australian dollars and include the GST (Goods and Services Tax 10%), but do not include delivery (standard delivery is $6.00 including GST per order and other options are available see Shipping and Delivery Information).
Prices may vary at anytime. If an item's price increases between the time of publishing and the time we process your order, we will contact you for advice before the order is dispatched. If the price is reduced after we have received your order but before processing, the order will be dispatched at the new low price.
We cannot credit or refund the difference for any price drop after we have shipped your order.

Availability
All products are shown with their availability, the availability is also shown in your trolley.  The availability can be Pre-Order or Overdue/Delayed, In Stock, Back Order/On Request or Discontinued.

Pre-Order – Pre-Order items are not available at the current time as they have not been released yet, for more info on PreOrders and ordering PreOrder items see Pre Orders and Pre Ordering.

Overdue/Delayed - When a PreOrder titles have not arrived with us by the release date the availability will be shown as Overdue/Delayed until the product arrives in stock or we get a new release date from the distributors. see Pre Orders and Pre Ordering.

In Stock – this means there is at least one copy of this product in our warehouse available to be dispatched.  Our web site is linked live to our warehouse so when the last copy of a game is ordered the page for that game will display the availability as Back Order/On Request.

Back Order/On Request – this means that all our stock of this product are committed to orders, or that there is no stock of this product in the warehouse.
Popular products and new releases are re stocked regularly and usually take less than ten days to come back in stock. (except Atari products. Atari likes to completely sell out of new release titles before ordering more stock so it usually take 4-6 weeks)
Recent releases and slower selling products are re-stocked more slowly and usually take 8-21 days to come back in stock.
Very old and slow selling products will generally not be re-stocked unless you place an order for them.

Discontinued – if you have saved a link as a favourite or found an old link, which has been cached by a search engine you may come across a discontinued item.  Discontinued items have no price and cannot be ordered.  These are products which are no longer available to us from our distributors here in Australia or the supply of these products from our distributors is so unreliable that we are not sure they will ever arrive and as such we do not accept orders until we have stock in the warehouse.

Gift Wrapping
If you would like your purchase gift wrapped for only $1.00 please include the details in the Special Instructions section on part three of the order process.

Security & Privacy
Games Warehouse will not disclose, sell or share your email address or any of your personal details to other Organisations or Individuals (except when required by law). Your information is protected as you send it to us by our Secure Server and our Thwate SSL Certificate. This server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that works with your Internet Browser and prevents any third party accessing information you send us. 
We accept payment by methods other than credit card, so if you do not have a credit card or do not wish to use your credit card on the internet please see the information on Payment Methods
