Placing Orders Online

When you find a game that you would like to purchase, click the "Trolley" button Trolley next to that game. Your choice will then be placed in your electronic shopping trolley. You can then browse for more items, returning at any time to review your trolley by clicking "View Your Trolley" in the list at the left of the page.

To place your order you can connect to our secure server by clicking the link on the Trolley Page.

You can also place an order without using our secure server (any information you send to us without using the secure server may be intercepted by a third party).

When you place your order with us, we will save your personal details (not your payment information) so you don't have to enter them again. Your payment information is deleted when your order is shipped.

Security & Fraud

Games Warehouse will not disclose any of your personal details to anyone (except when required by law). Your information is protected as you send it to us by our Secure Server. This server uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an advanced encryption technology that works with Netscape Navigator (versions 2.0 and above), Microsoft Internet Explorer (version 3.0 and above), and AOL (AOL 3.0 and above). SSL prevents any third party accessing information you send us. 

If you are not happy sending your credit card information over the internet or you are not using our secure server we recommend you do not enter your credit card information.  You should select the Direct Deposit, Phone me for my Credit Card Details or the Pay by Fax or Mail  options.

WARNING TO CRIMINALS: All accessing of our website is logged. We will notify the Police of any fraudulent activity for the purposes of prosecution. 

Ordering Information.

Note: Your order is not placed until you press the Order Confirmed button on the last page

There are five steps (pages) in the order process.

1. Welcome - here you enter your email address so we can keep you informed about the progress of your order and a password to protect your information (see privacy).

2. Address - this is where you will enter information about where to send your purchases.

3. Shipping - Tell us any special instructions about you order.

4. Payment - Select your payment method, direct deposit (we will confirm we have the stock and email you our bank account information so you can do a direct deposit) credit card online, call me option (we will call you to get your credit card details), or print the order out and fax or post it to us.

5. Confirm - review your order and shipping and billing information. If you are not happy with any information displayed you can change it. Your order is not placed until you press the Order Confirmed button on this page.

Note: If you have chosen the Mail/Fax option your order is not checked or processed until your fax or letter and payment arrive.

After your order has been placed you will receive an email which details your order.  Remember, if you have any questions, worries or problems, contact us send an email to orders@gameswarehouse.com.au or phone us on (02)9648-5656. We can't fix a problem if you don't tell us we have a problem.

PAYMENT METHODS

Direct Deposit

You can do a direct deposit at any branch of the National Australia Bank or by using an Internet banking service that allows you to make a payment/transfer to another account. We will send an email to you with information you need to make a direct deposit into our bank account when your order is ready to ship.


Credit Card 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Bankcard.

We do not process credit card payment until your order is ready to ship.

Our credit card processing protects and identifies the validity of the credit card details you enter. We do security checks, we may ask for confirmation of details, or for you to photocopy the front and back of your credit card along with another form of identification confirming your details and send them to us.


Cheque / Money Order

Cheques or money orders are to be made payable to Games Warehouse, and sent to our post office box with the printed form. Once the cheque has been cleared (up to seven working days) we will then process your order, we will still send you email to keep you informed as usual.

Pre-Orders

The release dates of pre-order items are supplied to us by the distributors of the game in Australia and are often revised. Occasionally the pricing on pre-order items will also be revised in these cases we will follow our pricing policy.

We do not list all games in our pre-order list, only those for which we have advance information and pricing from distributors. Games can be pre-ordered in the usually way.

As with all orders paid by direct deposit or credit card we do not ask for payment or charge your credit card until the game is ready to ship.

Placing Orders Offline

Choose the "Pay by Fax or Mail" option in step 4, confirm your order in step 5, then print it out and send it to us with a cheque, money order or your credit card details. Personal cheques must be cleared before we send the goods to you (please allow an extra seven working days).

If you don't want to send your credit card details over the Internet, you can choose the Direct Deposit or Phone me for my Credit Card Details option in step 4, confirm your order in step 5, and we contact you for payment when your order is ready to ship.

Returns

Games Warehouse wants satisfied customers. Our distributors guarantee the copies of the games we retail are genuine. If the game that arrives is is not the game you were looking for or is faulty, we are happy to refund your money or offer a replacement product. Please email us at returns@gameswarehouse.com.au tell us your name, order number, which game you would like to return and why.

Games must be returned in original condition. We cannot accept non-sealed, opened or "I have only played it once games". Games must be packed so as to ensure no damage is sustained in their return journey (or a restocking fee will appply). Games must be returned within one week of invoice date.

We are not responsible for return freight cost. Please select carefully before you place an order.
